Checked Canadian

For manufacturers

Put your plant on the map.

Retailers and public buyers are being told to source in Canada and are working from static lists. A listing puts you in front of them for free. A check answers the question they will ask next.

Your shop floor is the profile. Photos do more than any description.

Be found by the buyers who matter

Your profile appears in search, on the map, in your categories and in the checked-only filter. Buyers message you directly. We never see pricing and never take a cut.

Prove Canadian content once

Submit one cost breakdown and the documents behind it. A reviewer checks it against the 51% or 98% threshold. The mark goes on your profile with a date.

Show it everywhere

Embed the mark on your own site. It links to a public record page a retailer can open in one click. Renew yearly with an updated breakdown.

Your cost data stays private

Documents go into private storage, are served only through short-lived links, and are seen only by you and the reviewer. The public record shows the level and the product line, never your numbers.

For $49 a month your card appears in a sponsored position in relevant searches with a larger photo. It is always labelled Sponsored, in grey, and never sorts above a checked plant. It does not imply a check and does not change what buyers can trust.

Questions

Is the listing really free?
Yes. Listing, photos, and receiving requests for quote cost nothing and always will.
Do I need a check to be listed?
No. Unchecked plants show their self-declared percentage, labelled as self-declared.
What do you check, exactly?
That your documents support the numbers you entered, that the arithmetic clears the threshold, and that the last substantial transformation happened in Canada. We do not audit your suppliers.
What do I need before I apply?
One representative product, its direct material and labour cost split by origin, and the invoices, bill of materials and labour summary behind those numbers.
