About
Unitized Manufacturing designs and builds engineered roof and floor trusses at its plant in Thunder Bay and supplies engineered wood products, pre-fab panels and steel teleposts to Northwestern Ontario. The business began as Biltrite Lumber in 1959, took its current name in 1967 and bought its truss plant in the early 1970s. Truss layouts are designed in MiTek Sapphire software to the Ontario Building Code and can be supplied with an engineer's stamp.
