About

Markham Furniture was started in 1998 by William Rizk, a former production manager at Ontario upholstery plants, and remains family-owned. Its in-house carpenters, cutters, sewers and upholsterers bench-build made-to-order sofas, sectionals and chairs in Markham using kiln-dried Canadian hardwood frames and eight-way hand-tied coil springs. Pieces are sold through the company's two GTA showrooms.
